How to get there:
UNDERGROUND: Cockfosters Tube Station on Piccadilly line
Buses: 298, 299, 384, 377, 121 & 307,
Entrance to the park is a 5 minutes walk from Cockfosters tube station Piccadilly Line.
Please make sure you have a valid ticket, your oyster card is topped-up for your journey to Cockfosters and back to your destination.
Pedestrians can access Trent Park via footpaths on Cockfosters Road. For people with disabilities please contact us for more assistance.
Please note the route from Oakwood Tube Station is a private road. Don’t use Oakwood station to get to the Festival.
Always check TFL for journey times.
Times:
Festival gates will open at 12pm and the festival finishes at 8pm. Last entry is at 6pm.
Trent Park is in a residential area, there are NO cars parking places. Please use public transport to get there. Parking will NOT be available on the day. We advise all customers to use public transport to get there.

Tickets Entry and Wristbands
Tickets will be on sale from our official ticket partner Shoobs.
FREE ENTRY FOR CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 11.
*Must be accompanied by an adult
Tickets will be exchanged on arrival at the festival entrance. Entrance to the festival grounds for everyone is only with a valid ticket. There will be no admission without a valid ticket nor will re-admission once you have entered the festival grounds.
Photo ID will be requested at entry so please be prepared for this. We will accept a photo driving license, passport or PASS. Photocopies will be allowed in conjunction with a valid bank card bearing the holder’s name, but photocopies alone will not be accepted as proof of age.
You may be searched at the entrance or at any time while you’re in the grounds. Please comply with this request as it will only be made to ensure your safety and/or that of others. Rights of admission are reserved by the festival.
VIP tickets will be exchanged wristbands. Please keep your wristband on at all times. Wristbands removed from the wrist or tampered with will be rendered invalid and cannot be replaced.
Gates open at: 12noon-8pm (Last entry is at 6pm)
Please note there will be no refunds on the event day for tickets holders, who don’t enter the park grounds before 6pm.
Disabled Access
We welcome disabled guests. We try our best to make the festival accessible and a great experience for anyone who wishes to join us. Please contact admin@gpitp.com as far in advance as possible to discuss your needs, or those of someone you care for. However, please be aware that in places there is uneven ground and tree roots on the paths, so take extra care.
Food: There will be a choice of food stalls open all day inside the event grounds for sale.
Drinks
There will be fully licensed bars on site; alcohol is NOT permitted from customers into the event grounds or surroundings during the event day. *No glass or bottles are allowed into the festival.
Always drink responsibly. Should you be clearly suffering from the effects of excess alcohol we reserve the right to refuse further service.
We will operate Challenge 25 across all of our bars, so please bring valid and legitimate photographic ID such as a photo driving license, passport or PASS. If you cannot provide valid and legitimate photographic ID when asked – proving that you are legally permitted to buy alcohol – we will not serve you. In certain instances, we may take your ticket and ask you to leave the festival.
Families
Ghana Party in the Park is the ultimate family-friendly festival.
We will provide a varied programme of daytime activities and performances for toddlers to teens in a dedicated space right in the heart of the festival.
However, we ask that all children be kept under your supervision at all times. We DONT provide child-care services at the festival.
Things to Bring:
Please feel free and bring blankets, deck and folding chairs. Make your festival experience as comfortable as possible. There will be volunteers, stewards and signs to help you.
Please bring warm clothing as well as a hat and sun cream in case of warm weather, especially for young children.
Toilets will be available in various locations across the festival site.
Official merchandise will be on sale. Performance and schedules will be advertise on our website and social media platforms. Festival grounds site map will from our websites.

Leave at Home:
Health and safety and licensing rules mean that no alcohol, soft drinks or glass (e.g., drinking glasses, bottles) can be brought into the festival area from customers and guest. We’re very strict about this so please don’t be offended if you’re ask for your bags to be searched. Remember there will be a full license bar on site.

Canisters
Independent sound systems
Portable lasers or laser pens
illegal drugs or weapons
Any other items deemed unsuitable by the festival
First Aid: First Aid tents and aiders will be available throughout the day inside the events ground.
DRUGS POLICY
Ghana Festival has a strict anti-drugs policy. Searches will be carried out on entry and anyone found with any illegal substances will be passed to the police. This also applies to all weapons.
Belongings & Safety: Please keep your belongings safe. Keep your phone somewhere secure and do not leave bags or items unattended.
Behaviour
Anti-social or criminal behaviour will not be tolerated, and anyone who is threatening or violent will be escorted from the festival site. Legal action will be taken as appropriate.
Any items we consider to be used in an illegal or offensive manner will be confiscated.
Please respect the local residence of TRENT PARK and dispose of all litter using the facilities provided. Take everything you bring to the festival away with you at the end of the day.
Please respect our neighbours by entering and leaving the festival site as quietly and quickly as possible.
